Yorkville Discussing Traffic Calming Methods

Yorkville has been discussing some options for reducing speeding in problematic areas of the city. Residents have continued to voice concerns over the ongoing problem. Speed tables, speed bumps, striping/lane narrowing, landscaping in parkways, and signs have been suggested. Staff will be gathering estimates for traffic calming methods, for future discussion, at the Public Works Committee meetings.
