No Vote Taken on Turning Point Energy LLC Solar Farm in Yorkville
At the Tuesday, July 25th Yorkville City Council meeting, no motion was made on the agenda item surrounding the two Turning Point Energy, LLC solar farm locations. Since no motion was made, no vote was taken. The project, in its current form, will not move forward. One location was a 54-acre parcel off Cannonball Trail north of BNFS Rail, and the second was a 42-acre parcel off Cannonball Trail south of Galena Road. Currently, both locations are used as farmland. The parcels are part of the Bristol Ridge Planned Unit Development that was established as a residential area, zoned R-1 and R-2.
